Resilient South is a full-cycle disaster response and recovery initiative led by Serve South. This work focuses on providing direct financial assistance and coordinating resources for residents impacted by Hurricane Helene, while also establishing a scalable framework for managing future regional disasters, including wildfires and severe weather events.
The project prioritizes recovery efforts in Camden County, with a focus on families in St. Mary’s, Kingsland, and Woodbine.

Resilient South operates through collaboration with local and regional partners. Current partnerships include:
Residents benefit from streamlined access to recovery funds and essential supplies. At the same time, partner organizations benefit from a centralized system that serves as a “single source of truth,” helping ensure that resources are distributed efficiently and without duplication.
